After a 18 month wait since their last single release “Awaken”, Breaking Benjamin has officially released a new single. Released on May 13, 2026, “Something Wicked”, contains the authentic Breaking Benjamin sound we all love mixed with a new intensity.
Frontman Benjamin Burnley has expressed the creative labor that has went into this track. According to Burnley, the song is “a quick look into our influences both musically and thematically.”
The release of “Something Wicked” also marks a milestone for the band’s new member, Brian Medeiros (formerly from RED). Medeiros fills the seat following the departure of long-time drummer Shaun Foist.
His style brings a fresh, percussive grit that perfectly complements the new intensity.
