Bad Omens just dropped a series of studio photos on Instagram. The aesthetic of the new photos carries some cinematic moodiness, which we should expect, but there’s also some underlying intensity as well. If you’re anything like me, there’s no doubt you have analyzed the background looking for clues and studying the scene.
After the massive success of The Death of Peace of Mind, the big question is: Where will Bad Omens go next? The obvious answer is back to the studio.
Here’s what I’m picking up from the studio vibes:
Deep, intense curation. This is an atmosphere when genre boundaries are going to die.
Noah looking deeply meticulous and buried in production. His evolution as a producer has become the band’s secret weapon, blending heavy synthetics with raw metalcore.
The breaking of silence. They’ve been relatively chill on social media lately, making this drop of photos seem intentional. They know exactly what they’re doing to the metalcore community.
Whether they are producing a new single or piecing together a new album, one thing is certain: Bad Omens means business. They are going to push boundaries and shape new alternative metal landscapes.
